What we keep, and what we don’t

Last updated 29 October 2026.

The short version

Your padel progress lives on your own device first. An account exists so it can follow you to another one — not so we can build a profile of you. We don't sell your data, we don't share it with advertisers, and there is no third party buying a list of people who struggle with their bandeja.

What stays on your device

Your evaluation answers and results, your progress through the path, your logged sessions and reflections, and your journal are all stored in your browser's local storage. If you never create an account, that data never leaves your device, and clearing your browser data deletes it permanently.

What we store when you create an account

Your email address, and a copy of the progress described above so it can sync between your devices. That's it. Accounts and sync run on Supabase, and rules on the database restrict every row to the account that owns it.

We use your email to send you the sign-in link you asked for. We won't email you about anything else unless you separately opt in.

Analytics

We use PostHog and Vercel Analytics to see which parts of the app people actually use — how many finish the evaluation, how many start their path, where things get abandoned. It's product data, not surveillance: we're looking at whether a screen works, not at what you personally did on it. We never sell it or use it for advertising.

While we learn from our first players, PostHog also records some sessions on screen, so we can see where people get stuck. Anything you type is hidden in recordings, and so are your notes, feedback, email and profile answers.

In the EU, the UK and Switzerland we ask first, and until you say yes nothing is kept on your device and nothing is recorded; we only count anonymous visits. Everywhere else it's on, and anyone can turn it off under Help improve the app on the Account page.

If you block analytics, the app works exactly the same.

Cookies

No advertising cookies, and no cookies at all for analytics. Your browser stores what keeps you signed in, your progress, and your analytics choice; with analytics on, PostHog also keeps an anonymous id in local storage.

Deleting everything

Signing out and clearing your browser data removes the local copy. To delete your account and everything synced with it, use Delete my account on the Account page, or email the address below and we'll do it for you — no retention clause, no exit interview. Deleting also cancels any subscription. Download my data, on the same page, gives you a copy of everything first. Stripe keeps its records of payments, as the law requires.

Changes

If this changes in a way that matters — new data collected, a new processor involved — the date below changes with it, and account holders get told.
